Currently, you can buy GEMS (also know as GEMZ) in Poloniex.com and ShapeShift.io. In the future we plan on having this option enabled in the GetGems app.

If someone is good at editing videos, it might be good to have a tutorial to take people from start to finish, explaining how to buy a Bitcoin and how to transfer it to Poloniex to buy Gems using Bitcoin, as well as how to secure coins once you have them. I know it's relatively simple, but something that new users would need to know.
